Our Raksha Bandhan celebration combined creative activity with learning about relationships. Children made their own rakhis through threading and pasting, practising fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination while choosing how to decorate their creations. They also prepared handmade greeting cards to share with loved ones. Through these experiences, the celebration introduced ideas of caring, sharing, and helping, giving children opportunities to express their feelings through something they had made themselves.
